A fine 19th century leather and metal bound picture album including equine images and a rare carte of Emperor Napoleon III by Dusacq et Cie.

Dusacq & Cie was a prominent French publishing house active during the mid-19th century, renowned for producing high-quality lithographs, engravings, and photographic prints. Established in Paris, the firm gained recognition for its collaborations with notable artists and photographers of the era.

One of its significant contributions was the publication of *Vues et Monuments Les Plus Remarquables de l'Univers*, a series of photographic albums showcasing global landmarks, produced between 1864 and 1869. Additionally, Dusacq & Cie was associated with photographic portraits, such as the albumen silver print of the artist Ary Scheffer from the 1860s. Its works are now valuable artifacts reflecting 19th-century French art and culture.
